Fourteenth blog post
The camping trip that we went on was fun and tiring. I think one thing I might remember 10 years from now about this camping trip was that we went on a camping trip in the first place. My group and I did get our photo of the Eagle nebula. The story of how we got that photo is pretty simple we had to wait until 2:00 in the morning. Since I was the only one in my group that could stay awake for that long I was the one that could get the picture.
THIRTEENTH BLOG post
We are going camping next week and I am so excited. We had to make a list of things our group needs to bring. For the picture we are is either going to be Horsehead nebula or the Eagle Nebula. To tack these photos we need to be awake at 2:00 in the morning to be able to find what we were looking for. We have to use a telasco to see the nebulas and tack a photo of them.

we did a experiment this week. We made some sort of slime and we had to write about it. It is linked to the button if you would like to see it. We also did a writing piece

ELEVENTH blog post
This is the first week back to school from spring break. I have been very tired this whole week because I am trying to get back to my regular sleep schedule.
project
Why it is important to exhibit work is to show people the quality work you have been doing and to show that you have not been messing around all semester. Each step in exhibiting a photo takes well you need the photo to begin with. Next you will need to process the photo to make it look amazing. After you are done processing the photo you need to print it out on photo paper and put in on a backing wood would be good. The next part is to put epoxy on it you need to mix the epoxy solutions together. Next you need to pore the epoxy on the photo and spread lightly with a spreader after spreading it you will need to go over it with a blowtorch to get all the air bubbles out of the epoxy before it sets and hardens. after that you need to let it sit covered by something for about 24 hours going to check on it every few hours.
tenth BLOG POST
This is the last week of school before spring break. It has been a tiring week with me trying to catch up with my work well just my blog post at least. But other than that it has been fun. We did an experiment in chemistry with dry ice. I got freez a penny with the dry ice. This week I had a writing pieces that needed to be finished in humanities.
Project teams
My project group for this phase is to get everyone's home photo from the and print it out on a photo paper kind of thing. The home photos are pictures of people's homes or the view from their homes. So we have to find a place to put them and how we were going to put the photos on.

At school we did a lot of fun things. Like make hydrogen balloons and we lit them on fire. We also had to write about a topic in humanities mine was adopt the salton sea. We also had to write about the Hetch Hetchy Dam.
Chemistry
In chemistry we did a little class experiment. We made hydrogen balloon. Since the hydrogen is less dense than air the balloons started to float up to the ceiling.

Hetch HETCHY damHetch Hetchy is the name of a valley, a reservoir and a water system in California in the United States. I think that we should keep the Hetch Hetchy dam until we can find another water source for san francisco. I don’t think that California was supposed to support this many people because we are basically a desire country. We have to worry about so many things for the farms that we have here like where is the water we need going to come from to water the crops. Yes I think that our landscapes should. Why they should be saved is because it is alway good to look at something amazing, or beautiful and know that not everything is wrong with the world if places like this exist. I don’t really know how the water should be managed in California.

Fifth BLOG POST
Don't remember what I did this week sorry.
Humanities
I didn't have a plan for my picture I just wanted to tack one and see if it was a good one and had a human in it I would use it. The time that I took my picture was around 6 or 7 pm. I did not take a picture of a specific person there were just people there at that time. The photo was taken at seaport village the day before valentine's day. Why I took the picture was because the people there were just hanging out there and enjoying the sun set and there time together.
Chemistry
We had spent this whole week coating paper and creating negative for our human subject photos. It was pretty weird because it was like I could see in the room but also I couldn't see at the same time. But it was pretty fun to be able to do the things we do in chemistry like making the our own experiments.
The photo is my the human subject photo for the first phase of the project. The way I processed the photo was that I had to crop the image to make it smaller so it could fit on the thing we printed it on. Next I had to put in black and white and then edit the brightness, contrast and others befor I inverted the colors to make It a negative.
FOuRTH BLOG POST
We had been working in the dark room to get all the papers coated. It has been alright moving along in the project for this phase. The book we are reading is pretty interesting we will be completing this phase soon.

Chemistry
The two photos are my self portraits one is before processing and the other is after. The one in black and white is after processing. To process the image I had to first crop it to the right size, next I had to adjust the colors to make it look like a little softer. The last thing I had to do was to put it into black and white.
Third BLOG POST
This week was fun, we made the dark room and are getting ready to coat paper with the emulsion. The dark room is in my chemistry teacher's room.
Chemistry
This is the dark room it is in the chemistry room. We had to make the lights that are hanging in the classroom. We had to strip power cord wire and connect them to the positive and negative wires to the right spots. We put them in trader joe's bags to make the light look red and not as bright so it does not expose the emulsion.

Second BLOG POST
This week of school was eventful. With the fact that I got sick on Thursday and had to stay home. Other than that it was fun doing the head shots and messing around with the lighting. We got all the this ready for the dark room. We strung up the lights go the chemicals ready and the equipment for next week.
Humanities
The steinbeck book of mice and men is the book we are reading in my humanity class. It is a very descriptive book to begin wit. My teacher has said that it is a slow read and with how much descriptions of the characters make them feel real. We have little talks about what happen in the part that we read. What we talk about is who are the new characters, what do they look like, what's the scene or where are they.

Yes I believe that because we basically live in a peon society. My question is why do we live in that kind of society where we depend on people that are forced to work It makes no sense to me at all. We give them little to no money even though we depend on them to do work for us. They need to support their families with the little money they get. Sometimes their families may be there to help to get way more work done and get a lot more money.

Chemistry
So how the two equations that where on the bored teach me about chemistry. Is that these two chemicals plus another pair of chemicals are equal to or close the other two pairs of chemicals. And the chemicals have the same or close to the same reaction when they mix.
First blog post
The first week of the second semester was pretty fun. Got to meet my new teacher and learn about the new projects for class. We got to take pictures around the school and learn about photography. I learn about the different rules in photography like: rule of thirds and focal points. I got a couple of good photos. In math we started learning about functions. It was raining some of the days but I enjoyed it, expect the part of being all wet. We did get a warning about metal debris flapping around cause of the wind. No one got hurt, I hope.
Humanities
People are gathered around in anger, and disgusted. It looks like some of the people where in a uproar to the fact that an african american was going to there school as shown by the women yelling behind her. The lady next to her looked disgusted at that fact that she is here at this school.
These two pictures where taken at liberty station. I took the first picture because the plants looked good in the natural light. The second picture is my perspective of the rule of thirds, the focus point of the shot are the three bunches of trees.
